Client is a diversified SME with expertise in loyalty marketing and technology. They grow rapidly in its geographical reach and is incorporated in 20 countries across Europe, Africa and Asia Pacific region, with more than 1,400 staff in over 120 offices. Their operational headquarter is in Singapore, with regional offices in Bangkok, Delhi, Dubai, Guangzhou, Hanoi, Manila, Osaka and Taipei. Through their partnerships with InXpress and DHL, Client becomes a foremost provider of innovative freight solutions. As the Master Franchise for InXpress in 5 countries, they have developed innovative franchise networks in France, India, Morocco, South Africa and Vietnam. They requested QSoft Vietnam to build a web-based system providing integrated IT solutions for logistics companies. Highly functional, the system supports the freight value chain of activities with a platform that is easy to navigate, and yet fulfills the complex needs of global shipping and logistics.

  • The old system written in PHP is too slow and not stable, especially when the number of users or orders increase dramatically.
  • The system needs to be integrated with several carriers and service types based on the requirements of each country
  • The system also needs to work well in 12 countries with different logic, workflows and carriers.
  • Several features need to be developed in order to match the current business model.

Evaluate and review carefully old system (PHP)

  • Envolve Business Analyst with Technical Leader in the first phase to work and document the flows, business logic of the system.
  • Design new system architecture in Java programming language
  • Develop a new application along with maintaining the old system
