QSoft Idol: Work hard, play...harder!

On July 31, a fun, splendid and impressive singing contest so-called QSoft Idol took place at Hai Long Restaurant, Tran Thanh Tong street, Hanoi.

With the motto "Work hard, play hard", QSoft Vietnam frequently organizes extra activities for our staff after the office hours. QSoft Idol is one of them.

This is a karaoke singing contest held annually by QSoft Vietnam with the aim of creating a playground for our employees to relax after tense working hours, meet and talk with colleagues and show off their talent as well as personalities. Such activities are great catalyst to promote the solidarity and build a friendly working environment inside the company.

This year, the contest employed a new name - QSoft Idol (formerly QSoft Ka). It really excited all and every QSoft Vietnam staff as well as the honored guests to the contest. The overall impression that we all can see from this year contest is the professionalism: from the organization, rating mechanism...to the quality of contestants, who had showed astonishing singing and dancing performances.

After charging with a "huge" lunch, all contestants, judges, supporters, cheer-leaders, buzz-makers, etc., gathered in the contest hall, ready and eager for the fierce competition.

Handsome MC HoanVT soon heated up the competition room with cool face, hot body-suit and witty comments.

Right after the opening speech by Mr. Kien CEO (also Mr. Chairman of the Judges), the entire hall got covered in the artistic atmosphere with luring voices, charming performance and impressive identities. The songs chosen for the show belong to different genres: traditional, pop, soft music, R&B, rock, etc. Besides Vietnamese songs, lots of English songs were also performed in the contest.

Each song brought the whole audience an unique feeling. The entire hall turned silent during the performance of such sad, romantic songs as Chia xa (KienBD), Buon oi xin chao mi (TungDA), Nhung dom mat hoa chau (TuanVQ), Niem khuc cuoi (ToanBA + DungTA), Tinh lo cach xa (Xuyen), 2 become 1 (AnhBTL)...swinging together in joyful melodies such as Xuan chien khu (TrangNTT), To hong (TruongNX), Buc tranh muon mau (HoangNK), Top of the world (AnhNT)...or going absolutely wild with rocking songs like Lot xac (HoanVT), Baby once more time (LanNTP), Reu phong...

Duet singing and group singing performances were also very impressive. HoanVT seemed to be the super star of the show when at the same time feat ThuyNTH in Chim trang mo coi and AnhBTL in Ao mong tinh yeu. Other pairs were very successful too. AnhNT and HuyNQ gave a romantic performance with Đa lat hoang hon while LanNTP feat KienBD perfectly in Thoi anh hay ve, etc. Respected judges KienTT and HuongTH even astonished the whole audience by the duet song Du anh ngheo with surprisingly nice voices and professional stage moves.

Not only contestants and supporters were absorbed in the artistic environment, even the honored guests were so excited that some of them offered to join their voices; Huyen thoai ho nui coc (by Phuc uncle), Co gai Trung Hoa (by Vinh's girlfriend), etc., are among the songs performed by guests.

After 4 hours of competition, the Judges named best performers of the show:

• Best solo singer: TuanVQ (Nhung dom mat hoa chau)
• Best duet performance: HoanVT - ThuyNTH (Chim trang mo coi)
• Best group performance: .Net Group (Lien khuc ngheo)
• Potential singer: HoangNK (Buc tranh muôn mau), TungDA (Buon oi xin chao mi)
• Emotional singer: TrangNT (Xuan chien khu)
• Best singer by audience: XuyenDT
• Best style: HoanVT (Lot xac)
• Chaien's voice: ToanBA, KienBD

QSoft. No sooner had the the awards been given to winners than a new music show began. A show in which only those participated in it could fully feel the heat, the eagerness and excitement. More songs were sung, more beers were drunk, and lots of fun and happiness was shared.

QSoft Idol ended in cheers and laughters. Let us all get back with our daily dynamic works, and look forward to other fantastic events with our beloved friends and colleagues, our beloved QSoft Vietnam.
