we have had nothing but bad luck at ning. ning also controls what you can or can’t do on your own network basically, one day you may find your network gone cause someone takes offended by the popularity you ranked or what you use within the system.
A place like ning is a place you should stay clear of anyway. most of what we have seen has been illegal content and actions from the creators. some are even underage users making networks and letting music downloads open for public to take and its marketed music by major labels such as sony, A&R and many more.
we do have rights to post and stream music as long as it not being sold or given away like downloading. We here at APU Media do communicate with the artist to be sure we are ok to use any type of media first. some artist we do know personally.
The support at ning will also tell you that any other type of browser is not compatible and will not support any others in they list of theirs. (all browsers are compatible to the net.) flock is a firefox browser and is built on the same system as firefox, but ning staff support downgraded the company flock, stating it is not a compatible browser and it was not a firefox browser.
They never even looked to see if it was and when we told them it was, they kicked us from the ning system by blocking our email login to the systemclosed our network out and never gave us reasons for why it had been done. We don’t care for that so this is why we posted what ning is about truly, and how the staff there is mis using the power they use.
This company will fall on its own due to the actions of the service staff
Support did not and would not answer any tech calls related to the system. I was in shocked to know the admins them selfs don’t know the system like we did, even the developers who are the support would not answer any of the questions at all. ning will also let other networks slander your network to gain your members and they never knew you.
After seeing a few lines in the about company section of the site ning, we began to start looking in to this.
It is our duty for the safety of internet users and members and clients of our own, to be aware for such false companies like ning.com.
most of the networks in ning act like its a competition to be better then someone else in the system, well popularity is not our game. we haven’t had one client or customer come see us or ask for any services from the time of ning due to slandering remarks on us, and found slandering comments on us for stuff we never did or attempted to do by other networks in ning it self.
If you want to build a network better and reliable without the harassments of other networks stealing or taking your works or members. go to kickapps.com its better and the support is there to help if you need it. basically your own real myspace look, a system software that is most pop and reliable and secure. the myspace system is based off of the php fox system, it is the most reliable most popular. ning is not the most pop and it is not their software at all.
We researched more on the system of ning who claimed it was theirs and their biz plan.
We found this same system but different lay outs at other locations of the net and world, one in UK and another in calf. The system is a social network program based on php css and html that you can buy your self. Its set up like the cpanel system after creating a hosting plan. basically if you go to wordpress and make a blog site your wordpress is ready after doing the information it asked for. that is the same for making your network system instead of being the user your the controller of the network.
We researched more systems like ning and found 3. so we knew ning lied to get investors to buy in to it, and so happens the biz plan they made claim on, was the same year a biz was stolen from one of our clients. we had already build it and hosted for over a year, and nothing of payment came in so we had to removed it. Needless to say we never got paid for the work due to false information and fake sites that was set up, by another company making claims they was not even legal to do or licensed to do.
