However, it is not exactly true and we are going to throw the light on the real state of things.
When you contact the nearest travel agency and find out the rates for a holiday package and compare them to those offered by a website, you will see the difference. It is really a fact that in most cases the Internet will have prices lower than those of a local travel agency and the difference will constitute a sum equal to $150. How can this be? The website will deny any quality difference. Even the flights suggested will be the same. However, travel websites do not book airplane seats instantaneously like agencies do. This is the reason why there is a high risk that you will the first to be bumped if there are problems with flight reservations.

This is true in some way, but they are silent about the huge profits they gain if reservations are changed or canceled. Even minute changes may cost up to $100. In case of complete cancellation of your travel, you might get less than 50 % or nothing at all. Furthermore, the price you pay for a package often does not include many other taxes and fees you will have to pay on arrival, while travel agencies have already covered these.
Therefore, it is crucial to be careful! The Internet resources are useful, but not always so reliable as they are being advertised. If you are going to purchase luxury travel vacation, it is really better to apply to a travel agency. They will provide you with a guaranteed seat on a plane, a comfortable room, which can be changed by your travel agent if you do not like it. Finally, in case of cancellation you are likely to get it organized better due to your agent`s efforts. Travel safe and do not forget the benefits of travel agencies!
